This is because the device is specifically designed to capture the vital signs essential for calculating the National Early Warning Signs (NEWS) score, which include: Blood Pressure (BP), Temperature, Heart Rate, SpO2 and Respiratory Rate
A step-by-step guide to use Urgent Medical Care (UMC)
STEP 1
Download & Subscribe

A user downloads and registers on the MyPocketDoc app, then subscribes to the UMC service.
STEP 2
Top-Up Credit

The user tops up their account with sufficient call credits to use the UMC feature.
STEP 3
Start UMT

The user opens the app and selects UMC. They then follow the instructions to collect their health vital signs using the MyPocketDoc Medical Device.
STEP 4
Start Data Collection

The app automatically connects the user to an available panel doctor, who can immediately access the collected vital signs.
STEP 5
DK Analysis and Recommendation

The doctor reviews the automatically generated NEWS score along with the user's symptoms and vital signs. They then perform a professional assessment and provide a clear recommendation and advice.
